Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

Nextritech Ltd ("Nextritech", "we", "us") is a Kenya-registered company delivering solar, battery storage and plumbing engineering services, and publishing engineering mobile apps. This policy covers nextritech.com and its subdomains (including our free calculators) and describes how we handle personal data submitted through it. Our apps may reference this policy but are separately listed with their own privacy details on the Google Play Store.

2. What we collect

When you submit the enquiry form on this site, we collect: your name, email address, phone number (optional), the service you're interested in, and any project details you choose to share. If you tick the "notify me" checkbox, we also record that opt-in so we can send occasional updates about new tools, apps and resources.

We use Google Analytics (GA4) to collect standard, aggregated website-usage data — pages visited, approximate location, device type, and how visitors reach the site — to understand and improve it. This data is processed by Google under its own privacy policy.

2a. Advertising and cookies

Some pages, including our free calculators and resources, may show advertising served by Google AdSense. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user's prior visits to this and other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to our sites and/or other sites on the internet. If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, we use a Google-certified consent management platform that follows the IAB Transparency and Consent Framework. It asks for your consent before cookies or similar identifiers are used for personalised advertising or measurement, and you can accept, decline or manage your choices there. If you decline, you may still see non-personalised or limited advertising, which does not use your personal data for ad targeting. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time through the privacy settings link on the page (where shown) or by clearing this site's cookies.

US residents. Depending on your state (for example California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Texas), you may have the right to know what personal information we share for advertising, to opt out of its sale, sharing or targeted advertising, and to correct or delete it. We do not sell personal information in exchange for money; advertising partners may collect identifiers such as cookie IDs and approximate location through ad cookies, which some state laws treat as "sharing". We honour opt-out preference signals such as Global Privacy Control where our ad and consent tools support them, and you can email contact-us@nextritechengineering.com to exercise your rights.

3. Why we collect it

To respond to your enquiry, prepare a quote or consultation, and — only if you opted in — to notify you about new Nextritech tools, apps and resources. Analytics data (if enabled) is used only to understand and improve the site.

4. How we store it

Enquiry submissions are stored on our hosting provider's server in an access-restricted location, and a copy is emailed to our team. We do not sell your personal data. We may share it with subcontractors or partners directly involved in fulfilling your enquiry (e.g. an equipment supplier for a quote), and only as needed for that purpose.

5. Your rights

Under the Kenya Data Protection Act, 2019, and, where they apply to you, the EU/UK GDPR and US state privacy laws, you have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of your personal data, to object to or restrict its processing, to data portability, to withdraw consent at any time, and to complain to your data protection authority (in Kenya, the Office of the Data Protection Commissioner). 6. Retention

We retain enquiry data for as long as reasonably necessary to respond to you and maintain business records, or until you request deletion.

7. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as our services change. Material changes will update the "last updated" date above.
